Medical Physicists have specialised training in the medical applications of physics. They contribute specialist scientific and technical expertise and skills towards the diagnosis and treatment of individual patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Medical Physicists work in hospital diagnostic imaging departments or cancer treatment facilities.
