Description
The physiotherapy department at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre offers its services to patients affected by cancer. The department is committed to offer a service of excellence to address any physical limitations that can arise as a result of cancer and its treatment. Major emphasis is made on patient-focused service delivery.
In-patients
All in-patients requiring physiotherapy are referred and treated whilst on the ward. An out-patient follow-up is arranged for patients requiring further physiotherapy following discharge.
Out-patients
Out-patients services are available for patients experiencing physical limitations related to their cancer and its management from diagnosis and beyond. The clinic also offers management for oncology related lymphoedema and rehabilitation for survivors.
