The Directorate for Allied Health Services (DAHS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Active Ageing is proud to host its first-ever National Scientific Conference, taking place on 5th – 6th of November 2025, from 08:30 to 14:30 hrs, at the iconic Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.
This landmark event will bring together healthcare innovators, researchers, and practitioners to explore the evolving landscape of allied health. Through a purpose-driven programme, the conference aims to foster collaboration, showcase impactful work, and inspire new approaches to integrated care and innovation.

The 2025 National Scientific Conference programme is guided by four key themes that reflect the evolving priorities and challenges within allied health:

  • THEME 1: Relationships That Drive Care – Strengthening interprofessional collaboration and patient-centered approaches
  • THEME 2: Digital Futures | Human Touch – Balancing technological advancement with compassionate care
  • THEME 3: Quality Without Compromise – Elevating standards while ensuring accessibility and equity
  • THEME 4: Facing Challenges, Forging Change – Tackling systemic barriers and driving transformative solutions

Participants will have the opportunity to present their work on a national platform, engage with changemakers from across disciplines, and contribute to shaping a new era in allied health. The conference offers a unique space for professionals to share insights, foster meaningful connections, and drive forward innovation in integrated care.

Abstract submissions (Aligned Abstract Submission Guidelines.) are now open. All professionals working within or alongside allied health services are encouraged to contribute and be part of this exciting journey toward a more integrated and innovative system.
