Synergizing Care: A Contemporary Blueprint for Connected Health Services

8th Annual Conference 2026 | Directorate for Allied Health Services

The Directorate of Allied Health Services (DAHS), in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry for Health is proud to host the 8th Annual conference taking place in October 2026.

This year’s DAHS Annual conference title is:

“Synergizing Care: A Contemporary Blueprint for Connected Health Services”

Target Audience: DAHS workforce

Why this conference matters:

Healthcare is evolving. Changing population needs, increasing complexity, and advances in technology require services that are connected, coordinated, and centred on the needs of individuals and communities.

Improving care depends on professionals working together, sharing knowledge, and learning from one another. Synergizing Care: A Contemporary Blueprint for Connected Health Services provides a platform to explore how collaboration, innovation, and contemporary practice can strengthen healthcare delivery.

About the conference:

The conference brings together healthcare professionals, support workers, researchers, educators, and leaders from across the Directorate to showcase innovation, exchange experiences, and explore approaches that support integrated and person-centred care.

The conference will focus on two sub-themes:

  • Service Improvement in Practice Exploring practical improvements in service delivery, including enhanced coordination, optimised care pathways, and approaches that strengthen person-centred care.
  • Adaptive Workforce in Practice Exploring how healthcare professionals and support workers can develop the skills, knowledge, and partnerships needed to adapt to the evolving demands of modern healthcare.

Conference Format

Moving beyond a traditional conference model, the programme is designed to encourage engagement, reflection, and knowledge exchange.

Accepted presentations will be pre-recorded using the designated Directorate Allied Health Services setup and shared with registered attendees before the conference. This will allow participants to engage with the content in advance and use the in-person event in October 2026 for discussion, peer learning, and collaboration.
